Clinical Research
For the past two decades, Dr. Jesse Ehrenfeld has conducted clinical research focusing on biomedical informatics leading to the presentation of over 200 abstracts at national/international meetings and the publication of more than 200 manuscripts in high impact peer-reviewed journals. He has co-authored twenty-two clinical texts.
His interests within bioinformatics include: perioperative systems design, real-time decision support via pragmatic applications of process monitoring & control, and the development/application of intraoperative outcomes measures.
His work around improving physiologic monitoring and patient safety includes five other major academic centers where he is now determining how decision support tools can best impact perioperative care.
